  1. Yeah I know Powell makes some crazy light rods. And I've heard good things about the higher end ducketts. For the reel I'm probably gonna bite the bullet and try to find a lightly used Shimano Stradic ci4
  2. Desparately need a finesse setup. Current one is a $12 Shakespeare combo from Walmart bought in 2012 and it's been so hot in Texas bass are getting lazy and going deep. Unless the new St. Croix Bass X is just awesome, I'm gonna be stuck between a Duckett Micro Magic Pro and a G-Loomis E6X spinning setup. Most likely paired with a light as possible reel and like 6-8lb InvizX fluoro. Open to suggestions for the reel. Rig will be used for everything light from weightless wacky rigs and drop shots to the little 3" Z-Man T.R.D. shakey head things, and needs to last a long time since I plan on trying to get into TAMU Kingsville or Lamar University within the next 2 years. Will be trying to join their respective fishing teams.
