  1. Not sure where to post this question. I guess this is more of a hardware problem. Me and my friend caught a largemouth and I hooked it pretty bad. In the chaos of trying to get 3 hooks out of the fish we dropped our rods into the sand/water (we were at a lake). We didn't notice anything until we casted and then tried to reel in. It wouldn't reel in smooth--barely reeling in at all. When it was it sounded really gritty--but I can't see sand anywhere? There was just some on the line. How should I correct this? Do I disassemble, spray with WD 40 and lube it? If so are there any lubes I can get at Wal-Mart? I'm just trying to salvage the reels and hope it isn't a real issue (no pun intended.) Thanks! Eric
