Hi all, New member here from Saint Louis. I recently caught the fishing bug about 3 - 4 weeks ago. I'd fished maybe three to five times in the past 25 years until recently I started to really enjoy it. I've fished the past four days in a row now actually, ha. (caught one ~4-5 lb channel catfish two days ago on accident, another smaller catfish and a few largemouth). I bought my first rod about two weeks ago. It's a Abu Garcia Veritas Micro (7', MH power, fast action) paired with a Abu Garcia Revo SX baitcasting reel. Lately I've been fishing Preslar Lake and Queeny since they're close to me. I've been meaning to go to Silver Mines in Ironton but every time my friends go my schedule doesn't fit theirs. Hoping to catch my first lunker soon!
