  1. I appreciate your input. I was happy with my 7'2" it was a different application, but the rod I enjoyed. I'm a sucker for a good full cork grip, always will be. But for large single hook moving baits, I don't really think you need to get all that fancy.. do I?
  2. What I'm more so looking for is someone who has used both. I had a 7'2" Heavy/Fast Exage w/ a Citica using 40lb smackdown. It got stolen, but I didn't mind the set up. I am wanting to have a specific spinnerbait/chatterbait set up. I'm eyeing the MH/F and considering the 6'10" due to bank fishing and I like fishing cover compared to open water. Tackle Warehouse has the Exage for $79 now. I could get two rods for one Curado. I don't mind buying a $160 rod. Having used the Exage, I do have my qualms. Ignore that I had 4 combos stolen, I like the value idea, but I'm more so focused on a good spinnerbait/chatterbait combo. It will be on a 7.2:1 Citica with 25lb smackdown to a mono leader when needed. Thank you all Gianni
  3. Hello from KC. I've done a fair amount of reading on this forum the last few weeks and decided to join up. I just got back to fishing this summer, consistently. I grew up Kansas pond fishing for large mouth and lake fishing every summer on Okaboji in Iwoa for pike, walleye and various bass. I've been evening fishing some large ponds / small lakes at James A Reed in Lee's Summit MO. I favor the spinnerbait and trying to be disciplined w/ my new jig set up. "Brush fixing is expensive when you suck at I've come to find" I hope to share what I know and learn a lot while I'm here. Gianni
