Here is my take...It does the Whopper Plopper noise...that's good, it's weedless...thats good. The only thing I think that will frustrate me is the frog hooks and the hook up ratio. I imagine it will be lower. Seems like bass just look at the whopper plopper and get all "hooked" up and can't get off...my experience anyway. I will have to teach myself to be a little patient with the hook set on this but the fact that its weedless and can run over grass and weeds is cool. I am not bothered by price really...and who's kidding who...if the whopper plopper cost was $50 and I knew it worked as well as it did...I still would buy three of them.
