  1. Hello everyone I am in the twin cities area of Minnesota and went fishing for the 1st time in almost 20 years this past weekend and remembered how much i live fishing. Growing up i never specifically fished for bass just fished to fished unless i was trolling for walleye pike or musky. My dad and i would also gp out to his boat on lake michigan and fish salmon and trout. Anyways im a 37 non boater that wants to learn to bass fish and to get good at it. I currently own no tackle or rod i did go out and buy a Daiwa rg2500ab. Need advice on a rod line and tackle along with good areas to bank fish and to eventually meet boaters to fish with. I am willing to drive up to 2 hrs away to fish.
