  1. Thanks guys alot of great information. I almost always fish the front of the boat but i will also be giving the BFL Buckeye Division a try this year as a co angler and will find it interesting and challenging iam sure to fish with someone i do not know in the back of there boat. I have heard it can be a pain or it can be a wind fall depending on your boater.
  2. Very true bocabasser or in your case it came back 12 fold. I remind my guys at our tournaments every morning we go out to be respectful and curtious to all those on the lake they are here to enjoy it as well.
  3. Fishing tackle no doubt is expensive. But others have already stated the mark ups and oh ya don't forget all that sponsorship money has to come from somewhere.
  4. Just remember if you can find a local club and get hooked up with them and have a good time and fish there tournaments you don't have to have all the bell's and wistles. I have seen many guys that have $30k boats with all the lures and rods and reels get there butts handed to them by a guy in a jon boat with 3 rods. All you need is a cpl good rods and some lures that you feel comfortable with and go fish. As you win some money put it back into equipment. Only difference with having 6 rods and million lures is you don't have to tie on as much and you may just have a set up better designed for the application. Start with what you have available and go have some fun and build from there.
