I would go with a crank bait of several depths to make sure you can reach them all, cranks are very easy to use and can locate the fish Bc you can cast out and just reel them right back. Figure out what depth and what colors they like. Either that or a skirted jig.. if it's clear water I would go with green pumpkin / brown ... more natural colors. You can cast those and use them at any depth as well. A good arkie style jig is good for that.

Haha yeah I was , and was just talking about how awesome it would be to have a day like that. It's funny to when you see other people and they are like "oh yeah I got like 3 or 4 today " and they ask how I did .. I just tell them "yeah I got a few myself" lol

Thanks man I knew it was gonna be a fun day when I casted 10 times and got a fish on every cast ha. Then it was like a fish every 5-10 casts for awhile. Slowed down in the later afternoon .. prob Bc I kept pulling the fishes brothers out and when I release them he went and told the other fish to watch out for me lol. Yeah this was on the KVD series spinnerbait , those things work wonders.

Yeah that was a first, me and my wife fished it on Friday and I threw on a spinnerbait and noticed the bass loved it. Only had a couple hours to fish though, today I had all day so I took advantage and threw that spinnerbait back on and just crushed them all day. Hell yesh man. I was shaking when I landed him ! I was so scared he got off Bc where I was fishing had weeds. And he drove Streifht down.. but when I felt the weeds move I got so d**n happy. Netted 6 pound bass with about 10 pounds of weeds. But all I was using was a spinnerbait Oh yeah I won't ever forget this. Thanks everyone

So today was the perfect day for fishing. Was a small cold front with a little rain comming threw in the afternoon. Overcast cloudy skies all day with some sun shining threw. I have been picking apart this new lake and finally went all out! Today was insane. I tied on 1 lure today and that was all I use. The fish were going crazy for it! Caught 71 large mouth and a new personal record , 25-27 inch 6 pounder ! Was the best day I ever had

Sooo I have been seeing people using these "bass jigs" with skirts on them around my lake. Throwing them into lily pads and weeded areas. Putting them into open pockets of weeds etc. never knew how good they were so I'm wondering. What's everyone's best skirted jig type or company. And with what trailer? .. craw, beaver, shad etc.. and what kind and colors. Wanna try and throw some this weekend. And tips would help to

Yeah that's all I do is fish for fun, I don't own a boat myself and I use just a canoe, I get into a lot of creeks and areas boats actually can't go and seem to catch lots of fish. Honestly I don't even keep the fish I catch, I always catch and release and hate seeing people keep fish. Unless it's walleye or trout I never keep a fish. I always think to myself, awe man if I put him back he can eat and grow and get bigger then I can get him again. It's always just to relax and enjoy the day. And I do like the gambling of never knowing what ya might get

Mine was today I got a snapping turtle. Thought it was a DD bass or my new PB but when it came up like an anchor I knew something was wrong.

Sooo me and the wife went fishing today. She asked to go out actually so you know I'm already in ! We got a personal best for total fish caught today ! 27 large mouth bass and 1... 1 stupid snapping turtle! First time ever catching a turtle and I wasn't to pleased. Lost my new rat l trap Bc of him : ( ... guess he will be swimming around with a nice ornament for awhile! What's everyone's personal best for totals and how about them snappers.

Yeah I guess it's just the summer I'm sick of.. the area I been fishing is full of weeds and duck weed.. get hung up every other cast. And lots of bugs! Flies and mosquitos an gnats everywhere .. but it's been 2 days now and I miss the water already ha. Yeah I agree.. must have been the heat getting to me. Both lol. I mean I had some good days. Just the other day I went piking for 3 hours and got 4 pike and a 4 pound LMB but just got tired quick and today I could have went fishing but just didn't have it in me.

Soooo I have been going fishing 3-5 times a week now .. and I think I finnslly have been all fished out. Anyone ever feel that way.. I might be going crazy '! Got the fish blues hah

That's true , I wanna try a change on scenery to, been fishing the same like for about 2 months straight so a new pond would be nice. I have fished it before and I know it holds fish just wasn't sure if maybe there could be a hidden gem there
