  3. I'm thinking about purchasing some of the above mentioned Crank Baits made by Spro. How good are they? Do you prefer another brand? If so which ones and in what color and weight.

  9. Thank you, for all of your replies. A lot of great information. None of it I knew. From what you folks have said I will stay away from storm swimbaits.
  10. Please tell me about them. How good are they? How should I fish them? My fingers don't work as good as i would like. Its hard for me to rig a swim bait. That's why I'm thinking about buying some these pre-rigged swim baits.

  15. NYWayfarer, WRB, Mobasser, RoLo, scaleface, Shootermcbob, Frogflogger, Thank you for all of your replies. Like you, I have some Jitterbugs. However, all of my fishing is done during daylight hours. I have found other lures that work better. I have also found lures made by Heddon and Jitterbugs are very cheaply made.   18. Are they still a great top water lure or have they been replaced by some other lure? I love fishing top water. If you think there are better top water lures please tell me about them. Be sure and include your preferred colors and method of fishing these lures.

  23. Folks, thank you for all of your replies. Sounds like I need to set the hook faster. Normally, I'm using a St. Croix medium seven foot rod with Power Pro braided line. The hook I use is a Gamakatsu finesse wide gap.
  24. Is there away to prevent bass from swallowing hooks when using worms made by companies like Zoom and Senko?
