  1. live bait is noob friendly..and a lot cheaper than lures because you don't have to worry about replacing a 6 dollar lure..but i prefer lures because i dont like sitting there with live bait and waiting..rather cast and reel..twitch..and all that good stuff
  2. thanks for the help..yea i know that they'd be in deeper water..but when i stand up on the rocks and climb on the trees..the water doesn't get all that deep
  3. so there is a chance of bass bein around there? i tried fishin' with a senko but nothin'..i didn't see a single fish there..maybe because last night it was aroiund 20 degrees and when i came this afternoon some water was actually ice..is that why i haven't been able to see any fish?
  4. hey im from fresno fishing at the san joaquin river on cobb ranch..i was wondering..i've been reading and everybody says that bass loves weed and logs..but the san joaquin river has a whole bunch of rocks..its the ponds and river floor is filled with rocks..and logs too..but i hardly see any weeds..is this still a good place to fish? there is a lot of crawdads and alot of trees for shade..i've caught a bunch of crawdads here..but there isn't much weeds in the water..just wondering if this is a good place to fish so i dont have to waste my time
  5. hey guys im new to bass fishing..i've never caught a bass in my life but woke up deciding that i wanna catch a bass..so now its like drugs and i need to catch one bad..i have a lot of questions that i need answered..ok here goes..when you use a spinnerbait do you have to use any weight with it? and if so how and where should you tie the weight? how do you necessarily use a spinnerbait? do you just cast and real in? what is the technique? alot of people i've talked to use live bait..but when i read these forums all i hear about is lures and stuff like that..what is the difference between live bait and spinners and other lures? that's all for now..thanks in advance and sorry i didn't read ahead dont get mad
