I need help with my baitcaster idk what’s wrong with it, it’s medium heavy and the lure weight idc ⅜ ounce to 1 ounce and I bought some lures and they can’t cast I’ve already tuned My reel and the line weight is 10-20 pounds and I use 14 pounds HELP

So I recently bought this cheap baitcaster off of bass pro and every time I try to spool the line it always skips.no matter what I do it won't spool correctly. any ways I can fix that???
