durability of Daiwa Lexa 300 and 400
I'll think about it. What's a fair price? Spooled with new 65lb green PowerPro. Only used the reel once to set the spool drag.

durability of Daiwa Lexa 300 and 400
Sounds good to me. They're just itching to be used. Spooled with PowerPro and cast a freakin mile with those musky baits. They have nice power handles too. Had to do a little switching for the 300 in order to get one on it, but it helps being the HS.

Which Stradic for Avid X Rod?
Ci4. I have a 3000 JDM model in 5.1 gear ratio, and it's MUCH less effort to reel than the 6.2. I actually returned the 6.2. Also have a Ultegra 3000 JDM in 5.1 for farm pond fishing and it's a good reel too.

durability of Daiwa Lexa 300 and 400
Anyone have any issues with the Daiwa Lexas in 300 and 400 size? I have a 300HS with power handle and a 400PWR with power handle. Both are for Musky, HS for smaller and faster baits, 400 for huge baits. Both are unused, but I'm wanting to possibly sell for Shimanos since I'm a Shimano guy. Just concerned about long term durability and quality of the reels since I haven't really used much Daiwa and I know these aren't top of the line or anything.

links under BR logo on website do not work
Didn't know where to post this, but the login/profile buttons right below the BR logo at the top left do not work. All it does is take you to the home page. I have this issue on any computer I use and multiple browsers. I have to go into a thread and scroll to the bottom to login. Can you please fix this?

Most versatile swimbait rod?
I was looking at the Phenix classic swimbait. Their rods got really good reviews.

Most versatile swimbait rod?
I know I know, but it's more just to try out the feel of the rod and get used to swimbaiting. Kinda like my training wheels rod. I'll get a Ferrari when I got it down ? plus I just wasn't sure which rod I wanted, and would rather swap rods at no cost that will get me in the ballpark instead of dropping 300 or so on something I might not like. If I like this then it will most likely turn into a Legend Tournament. Same specs, just a much nicer rod.

Most versatile swimbait rod?
I wound up getting a St Croix Mojo swimbait rod. Got an even exchange for another rod I didn't use, so I figured I'd give it a try since it was essentially free. 7'10" heavy/fast 1-4oz. I'm spooling my Conquest with 20lb Seaguar Red Label for now, since Cabelas didn't have any CXX in the store. Gonna see how my baits react to all this and go from there.

Megabass warranty after 3 years?
Sorry just not impressed at all

Megabass warranty after 3 years?
I understand the point of user error. Megabass offers nothing after 3 years period. How can that compete with St Croix, when they will even do a replacement program outside the warranty is what I'm getting at. If they offer a replacement for user error that saves possibly hundreds of dollars in replacement cost, that's not bad business, that's good business bc it keeps people like me coming back. I have gladly paid 85 for a fee in the past to replace a rod that costs 270 and I hadn't even registered it. They just didn't make a huge deal about it bc they knew it was theirs anyways. How can that be beat? Do you feel more comfortable with 3 years, or up to lifetime plus a replacement plan when you pay hundreds for a rod?

Megabass warranty after 3 years?
Already did, good call. Their rep was friendly and seemed nice to deal with, but after a year they will start asking questions and most likely not replace for free even though the warranty is 3 years. Nice rods, but just seems too sketchy for me. St Croix will win you over with their warranty and customer service if you let them.

Most versatile swimbait rod?
Since I prefer hard swimbaits over soft, should I be looking at more of a moderate-fast? That Loomis is right in the range, and warranty, but I definitely don't want a broom handle for hard swimbaits.

Most versatile swimbait rod?
So considering I fish in Kansas for bass realistically up to hopefully 8 pound bass (7 come around once a year or so with these smaller baits), and I will be using lures to catch hopefully an 8 or 9 pound fish with bigger, 2-4oz range I'd guess, lures, would the Orochi be a good choice? The rod would be primarily used for that, but would also need to double for throwing swimbaits and large cranks for striper. I currently have a Got Em Coach bluegill, slow sinking, and a BD Shad, I think 5 inch. I prefer hard baits, but I also have some 5 or 6 inch Huddleston soft baits. Another thing is, I don't want EVA or any other type of grip. Only cork with a good build quality.
