TM for 16' lund?
I actually made a front deck on my boat so I should have only slightly less than a traditional bass boat. Think along the lines of one of the Jon boat builds people do

TM for 16' lund?
The electric lakes are all relatively small and shallow (less than 40 ft I'd say, the biggest being 450 acres). My second option was the 80lb thrust fortrex, but I wanted opinions of people more experienced than myself, thus the reason for coming here first. I was almost worried to go 36v mainly due to weight, being it's a relatively small aluminum boat. I'd say it will mainly just be me with the occasional second person fishing with me.

TM for 16' lund?
Hey everyone! I'm sure this question has been asked before, or to some extent but I'm having trouble finding a solid answer. I'm looking to find the best foot controlled trolling motor for my 16' Lund adventure. Now this is the first boat I've ever personally owned and never had it on the water A little info is most of the lakes I will be fishing are electric motor only, with the occasional being a larger lake where gas motors are legal, so the trolling motor is going to be my main mode of power. With most of those being electric only, they are pretty calm, but I dont want to be underpowered on the 1-2 bigger lakes. I'm leaning towards a maxxum 70lb 52", but i am by no means set for sure. I put a picture of the boat with distance from top of bow to very bottom of boat for reference. Thanks everyone, Austin

I know on the title the boat says it is an 01 with the trailer title stating it's an 07. As far as the motor goes in not sure other than it being a Johnson 28, I'd have to check into that. As you pointed out I do know the center console is home made. That tank you see sitting there is actually just a spare, the main one is down inside. A Google search did reveal this one that has a newer main motor and trolling motor. http://boats.iboats.com/2001-lund-boats-wc16-o-fallon-il/1884499.html

New member and first boat
Hey every one, the name is Austin. I'm 26 from south central Pennsylvania, and have been fishing as long as I can possibly remember. I fish for anything and everything, with small mouth in the local rivers probably being my favorite. Anyway, to make a long story short I came across a deal recently on an 01 Lund Adventure wc16, with an 07 trailer, a 28hp johnson, 2 minnkota trolling motors, a bimini top and a few other items. Basically a very nice first boat I believe. I'm just curious as to what everyone thinks the whole package is worth. Yes the boat will be used for any and all types of fishing not just solely for bass, but also for panfish, strippers or anything else I may encounter. Thanks in advance, Austin
