Bassturds

Hi all, new member. I live in Visalia, .CA. New to the area, originally from the Midwest (MN and WI area) I've fished casually in many areas of the US moving around quite often since I was a kid (last 25 years) Bass fishing, fly fishing, ice fishing, a little saltwater. I currently have a 14' aluminum jon with 25hp outboard. I would like to upgrade that to something that would hold a family of 4 plus maybe 2 in the near future. Recently moved to California's central valley. It's my first experience fishing highland reservoirs and am looking for any advice on how to catch in the summer.
