I would go with the Daiwa. I have the ct type r and a sv tws the sv is a sweet reel. I have a new citica back to Shimano for repairs. Drag failure

i like a 7.3 it seems fine to me .My main reel i use for this is a Daiwa tatula ct r

i do not have any experience with Dobyns rods but i do with Mojo bass i have 4 off them they are the newer versions . I bought my first one a Target cranker s glass for square bills and it is such a pleasure to fish. i also have there slop and frog heavy action the jerkbait rod and a wacky rig rod and i am very pleased with all of them. I will have to try a Dobyn's and see how it compares i guess.
