Thank you Poolshark for the tips!

I will be in South Florida around Ft Lauderdale & Miami the last week of this month. I have never fished in Florida before and would appreciate any tips on tackle and the best locations to go. We will have 3 full days to fish! Super excited, I know one day we want to try to catch some peacock bass and another want to focus on the massive largemouths that I always hear about being down there. We will be shore fishing unless a place recommended has boat rentals. Thanks for any help!

My grandson & I will be in the miami area the first week of December, we would love to catch some peacock bass and maybe other fish specific to the area. We would probably be bank fishing unless we can find a place to rent boats. Any suggestions tips locations would be great appreciated, thanks.
