    Not an expert by any means but I too just got into spinnerbaits.. and fish from kayak Just this weekend bought: 7' Lowes Speed Stick MH Fast action 7:1 Lowe's speed spool 12 lb mono Berkely (wasn't 100% sure this was best but it seems to work pretty well. I think key is you want 12-18lb or so line) One KVD willow leaf spinnerbait (3/4 oz), One Boombah(?) colorado blade spinner bait (3/8 oz) Lost a big one on the colorado blade this evening.. I think I need to hookset better lol Overall though this new outfit is a lot of fun and casts a mile. I'm pretty happy with it. Others may correct some of these specs for optimal spinnerbait'in
