I never thought to ask Chris at Phils if he could weld it. Will do that when in the shop again.

That was my second choice if the JB does not hold. There is no real pressure on the hinge point if you oil before each use.

I found a JB weld Extreme heat but reviews were not good but pretty extreme pressure conditions. If I can find the extreme heat type locally I will try it. Thanks

Has anyone tried to repair a broken Do It jig mold . DO It suggested JB weld but thought I would ask if anyone has attempted this kid of repair with any success.

I am looking for a map program ( if that is what they are called ) for my new HDS9 Live . I am very new to this type of unit and the set up and ease of use is essential. I fish strictly Shasta Lake , Whiskytown lake and Trinity here in northern California. I am not looking for a ton of features as I am not a tech kind of person , just looking for the best for the money and function. Thank you all for your help. Dan

I have a couple of old lures that I need Identified. One looks like it may be wood and the other looks to be molded.

Hello everyone . I am pouring jig heads for the first time and wanted to ask about hook manufactures. I gather Gamakatsu hooks are a top of the line ( price wise ) but are they that much better than a Mustad , Eagle Claw , Matsuo , VMC . Names I found on Captain Hooks site. I would like to find a good hook for the best overall price , quality if that is possible. Any suggestions or comments on the hooks I listed would be greatly appreciated or other brand I didn't list.
