  1. Fishing Probably started following Reel Noise
  2. Alright. I mainly wanted to ask why do my reels make a audible noise upon retrieve with a somewhat rough feeling coming from the gears. All my reels seem to have this issue. My Johnny Morris Carbonlite 2.0 ( bought 6 months ago ), my lews mach II( bought a year ago, so I can kinda understand, but it also started this noise issue a couple months after owning it) and my recently acquired *** *** reel. I know that these 3 reels aren't super high end, but I expected all of them to not acquire almost the exact same noise/feeling in such short periods after owning them. I know I don't take the best care of my reels either, but I do keep them in my room, and have cleaned them. I can almost pinpoint the noise too. It always feels like it is coming from right where the pinion gear meets the spool bearing/main gear. I wouldn't worry about them making the noise if I couldn't feel the vibration going into the rods blank, just feels like it messes with me. Just wondering if there was a way to quiet it down a notch, or if I am stuck with the noise due to it being lower end reels.
