Swimbait reel
I was thinking the same thing. I'll be throwing 1 - 3 oz probably at all times and that's considered small swimbaits in the swimbait world. I do have a couble that's in the 4 oz range but I'll rarly throw that enless I'm sight fishing for a huge bass that I see, other then that I'll be throwing my *** oz swimbaits on the regular. And I think im gonna go with the Abu garcia revo x gen 4 in 5:4:1 ratio holds 180 yards of 12 pound so that should be good for my smaller swimbaits

Swimbait reel
I found the swimbait rod dobyns fury 795 now I'm looking for a reel. I know the shimano cardiff is great. But I want a lower profile reel. I'll be throwing anywhere from 1-4 oz swimbaits. Mainly 1 - 2 1/2 oz baits. But every so often I'll tie on my 8 inch bait that's 4oz. So if there's any good low profile swimbait reels that's good for that under 150 please let me know

All Around Rod ?
I just got into bass fishing over this last 4 months and I own a st croix mojo bass 7'1 Mh/f with a 6:3:1 ratio reel is this a good set up to throw senkos jigs spinner baits and some top water here and there? I been reading about st croix being a bit more on the heavy side so should I go down to a medium rather then a medium heavy
