  1. I have been using stradics for the past 8-10 years and have been lucky with them, and have no complaints. Because of this I haven't even used a competitors reel in the past 8-10 years. I am looking for a new reel in the 2000-2500 size range and want something that is as lite as possible. I was going to buy another ci4 but I am hesitant as I expect a new model to come out soon and also want to know if there is another reel I should consider. I have been looking at the a lot of the Daiwa Lt reels but want to know some opinions before pulling the trigger. The 2000 size that Daiwa offers catches my interest as its lite and holds plenty of line for me. I am open to all brands so please feel free to throw any recommendations out, I am all ears. I will be using the reel on a high modulus blank where sensitivity is of the most importance and will be using 10-15lb braid, mainly fishing finesse techniques. The weight of the reel is important to me.
  2. I am bring the boat to lake Murray this weekend. I have never fished this lake before and wanted to know if I could get some advice to point me in the right direction. Are the bass still deep, shallow or somewhere in the middle? Are there any go to lure styles I need to have tied on? Thank you, any help is appreciated.
