  1. Thanks for your time in responding to my question for those of you who do. I work for a nonprofit to which will remain nameless because, well, I read the rules and don’t want to tick off any moderators.... We are in the beginning stages of setting a tournament up and have all pretty much bashed our heads against a wall trying to figure out how we should make the payouts. In regards to payouts what gets you more excited, and more so gets you online with signing up..... a percentage spread over the top 20 positions with a lower overall payout for the top Performing teams? Or a large sum for say the top 3-5? And what would that purse look like? 1k, 5K, 10k divided up in whatever payout structure? I’ve tried to research what Tournies are averaging for payouts but honestly our setup will be unlike anything that I/we have found so it’s hard to leverage what we’ve found. I guess what I’m asking is.... what top purse amount would get you off the couch on a day you weren’t necessarily going to be fishing...... and for that payout what would you expect the registration fees to be? Thanks!! And looking forward to some good discussion! Chopz.
