GPS/Chartplotter
Anyone recommend a solid GPS/Chartplotter? I was looking at the garmin or lowrance. Also I live in NJ so I am assuming that I am going ot have to buy the additional software for the northeast? Im really looking for a gps to store locations more than anything, you arent going to get lost on any of the lakes here in NJ. Thanks!

Traveling with rods
Hi all, I am going down to Orlando for work in about 2 weeks and convinced my boss to fly me in a couple of days early to do some bass fishing down there. Anyone have any tips for flying with rods?? I was gonna use one of those tubes they send your rods in when you buy them from BPS or Cabelas, it seems sturdy enough. I was just curious to see if anyone had any experinces flying with rods, I dont want any headaches at the airport or to get down there and have them damaged. Im pumped to get down there though, its still very cold up here in NJ!

BPS Crankin Stick?
I have the 6"6" crankin stick and I think its a great rod for the money. Its a composite so it has enough give to fish crankbaits but is also sensitive enough to feel grass, etc. Its not a bad topwater rod either. I was going to buy another one a few weeks ago when they had them on sale for $40. I would def. go with the 7' for the deeper cranking as well.

Spinner bait rod?
Thanks for all your input. I was looking at their spinnerbait series not a spinning rod, but I will take a look at the 843 though.

Spinner bait rod?
Hey guys, I was looking at either the Loomis Spinner bait serier or the St. Croix spinnerbait series. Im leaning towards the loomis but I was wondering if anyone had any preferences towards one or the other, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
