These may not be anything special, but it's been a while since I've had multiple bass in such a short period of time. These sweet baits did not cost much. Bait monkey saved my wallet this time.

I love fishing jigs. Recently I was thinking about the color choice of jig skirt & head. Are so many colors necessary? Should the color of the trailer match the head color? And what’s your favorite color?

Frogs can always catch some big fish. But if you want it to become a habit rather than an occasional stroke of luck, you're going to change the way you fish for bass. Something like knowing the patterns of bass behavior. Try more different techniques and spend more time on the water, your pb bass may occur next time. Seems that bait monkey found you again.

I only use braid for frog fishing. Not saying you can't use other lines, but it's not ideal and you're going to miss some fish. And I agree with what the reel ess said. If you're going to use mono, then use the line no less than 50#.

Planned to get one and finally chose the cheaper one of other brand. Better to go though the reviews on amazon before purchase.

How much do you know about Bait Finesse System? Do you own a BFS reel for bass fishing? I was wondering why trout fishermen don’t use BFS reels since it’s difficult to start fly fishing. Lol

Don't forget electric toothbrush But to be honest, I only use the clean mode though it can be switched to 3 different modes, thought I would use all of them before I purchase. We often want more than we actually need.

I don't think any fish are "line shy" Sometimes lighter line helps you present a bait better. But in my opinion, fish will react to every changes in the surrounding. So i believe it may influence fish's reaction if you use visible line color.

So what feature do you think matters most?

Have you guys heard of double gear ratio spinning reels? Something flashed in my head when i first heard of that. Does it mean that we don’t need to take 2 or 3 reel & rod combos with us when go outside fishing? Will the two ratio both match one specific action & power rod? Seems to be reasonable to adjust to high gear ratio when searching the area to find where fish are holding, and to low gear ratio when getting bites. What’s your thoughts of it?
