Yeah I've been thinking a lighter weight may help. I've been using a 3/16 owner head because the docks Im targeting are in some fairly deep water. I can skip the 3/16th but not very well. Its just odd because I can skip a 3/8oz jig about a mile, and a senko even further but the little shaky head gives me fits.

Hey guys. Great forum. I've been lurking for a while but I've finally got a question worth asking. I can skip a 3/8 jig, a senko, a frog, etc...with no problem at all, but there is something about a shaky head that seems to dig hard as soon as it hits the water. Any suggestions on methods and/or head size/set ups? Thanks guys.
