Man it takes me long enough to make sure I'm ready for a tourny, if I had to respool all my rods each time... Guess that is why my primary line is still Powerpro.

Did that before last year, BUT I've lost fish with this one more point of failure (another knot), and given you have this place with the lines meet, that clicks in the eye. You don't want your leader too long, but if not long enough... really isn't helping much. I find myself not retying as often as I should because now my leader is getting shorter. Yes it works but to me isn't ideal either. May have to try Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft, but hopefully the stretch isn't too bad.

Been using mostly Powerpro but on slow moving senko type baits I would like to use a floro type of line. Tried using floro last year but the memory was so bad that it was hard to consistently cast the stuff. Are any of these newer Co or Hys any good? Anybody use P-Line Halo yet? Still searching for that perfect line.
