  1. Baitcaster. I have a spinning rod as well however I wanted to get into baitcasting because its more versatile. I know there is a learning curve( and I already got a birdnest just putting line on it?). Mine is a left hand retrieve(how I learned) on a 7’ medium heavy, because I heard these were good all around, starter rods. I am curious what anyone would recommend to use for crabkbaits as far as rod/reel. My promax is listed at 3/8-3/4 oz for lures, so some crankbaits fallout of that area. I currently have 17lb mono to learn the ropes, braid is ??? thanks for all the replies
  2. Also is the flea market active these days, after seeing the dates with posts on that forum I'm not sure if that's when they were made or when the last reply was. Anyone know if there are some active strings on the flea market.

  4. I just got a Abu Garcia Pro Max combo to start partly because I love how Abu looks aesthectically but also after some research it seemed like a good starter.
  5. Hello my name is Sam and I am a new member of the forum. I’ve just recently took up bass fishing out here in Arizona, however I will soon be moving up north for college. Fishing gear can be wuite expensive, so its hard for me to afford quality gear, specifically rods/reels. I currently only have one setup, so if anyone has any setups used or new I would be willing to buy them, along with any advice anyone has. Thank you
