Going to Destin next week for 10 days. I will be doing some salt water fishing. But really only care about bass. Anyone have some current water temps? Seems like S FL they’re bedding or about to. Further north I’m seeing mixed reports. For most the time I’ll be pond hopping. ** Big question. Staying right on Destin Harbor, are these brackish area, bays, coastal dunes lakes worth fishing for bass, or stick further inland?? any help would be huge, going with wife, kid... time fishing will be tight!!

Regarding the OP... I'm in Chicago and have been fishing everything private and public there is, urban to rural. Felt like a slow start to me as well. 2 good days. A couple days with a couple and blanked alot. I started looking at my last year pics.. didn't start catching visible beds til mid May. I was reading water temps staying over 56 deg will turn them on.

Just picked some 3 for 6 at my tackle shop. Looked into em and this is the first post I find! Better take care of em
