would a moderate-fast taper work? kind of like getting the best of both worlds. if not id probably stick with just moderate because i dont deal with a lot of cover very often

I normaly fish from the shore and sometimes from the kayak, but the waters around here arent real deep so i dont throw any deep divers. The max rods ill normally carry is 4

I was looking to get a casting rod for crankbaits. Id mostly be throwing squarebills, lipless, and medium diving crankbaits. Im conflicted because i dont know if I should have a rod with moderate or fast action.
