    Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I believe California does not allow throw nets to catch bait fish such as shad. i may need to get a custom made shad net to fit within my boat.

    I have a small 15 ft bass tracker. Not a lot of room for storage. i was thinking of using this net to not only net the bass but also use it to catch live shad. Does anyone have any experience with this net to know if it would work with the shad. Or any other ideas?
