I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the best deal on black bear hair for tying into my jig skirts. I have found some on jannsnetcraft and barlows, but I am not sure if it is going to be enough, and it is kind of expensive for the quantitiy. I am going to need it to be a little longer hair because I am going to be tying it in with regular skirt material on flipping jigs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I agree with you guys, and the only thing berkley fluorocarbon does for you is what it says in the name. It makes the fish vanish. I got some on sale at wal-mart and tried it last year. I have never snapped my line more in my life.

I think I am going to get the easy view tackle system for soft plastics and put it under my front storage compartment and maybe even some under my rod box lid. Then for crankbaits in the hard boxes I am going to try to make something myself out of plexi glass. I already have my boxes labeled so I just need something to hold them in place so I can see the labels. I hope this works out and thanks for the suggestions.

Gman, I think the easy view tackle system looks like a great idea. I have seen other guys with them at tournaments and thought they looked really nice but I wasn't sure what they were called. Thanks for the idea. I am going to have to do some measuring of my storage box to see if I can fit the plano boxes in when they are on their sides.

I am trying to find a new way to store my tackle in my boat that will make my organization more proficient. I have a bass tracker and it has one fairly large storage box in the front which has no dividers of any kind. I use plano hard tackle boxes with the biggest being a 3740 model. I was just wondering if anyone has come up with cool ways to store hard tackle boxes or any other kind of tackle. Pictures would be great if you have any, Thanks.

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to re-use the hooks on the jigheads that I have messed up. When I first started pouring jigheads last year many of them turned out deformed and the lead didn't make it all the way to the bottom of the mold. I dipped the head back into the melted lead and it took the lead off of my hook, but it left some lead in the eye of my hook that is very sharp. I have tried a small torch and it didn't seem to do the job. The mustad hooks that I am using are fairly expensive and I would still like to use them, but I don't want to take the risk of the sharp lead cutting my line. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks.
