    I live in SA and you'd be surprised the number of spots (off the bank) that you can throw a line in at. Obviously its not going to be the same as from a boat but you still can have some fun. The River walk downtown, Medina, Canyon Lake (pic below) plus most of the parks around here have creeks and small streams running through them. There's even a local bank fishing club that you can participate in. Send me a PM and I'll provide you with more details.. Good Luck!!
