Roman Made Negotiator V.S. Megabass I-slide
I've used the 168 S waver and caught my very first swimbait fish on it. I've used the 7 inch shine glides and caught big ones on it too. I have a 200 size S waver in light trout and I have a magnum shine glide now, but no fish yet on either of them. The waver has very tight action, but it casts well. The shine glide helicopters badly but I like the action better. Looking to bridge the gap between the two and get a big glide bait that both casts and fishes well.

Roman Made Negotiator V.S. Megabass I-slide
So, I've been getting into fishing big swimbaits for the biggest bass in the lake, and I've been somewhat successful so far. I've caught A handful of nice fish from 5-7lbs on various glide baits so far. I have 8 inch hudds, I have a 9 inch slammer, I have lunker punkers, bull shads, a triple trout, Deps 250, Gantarel (none of which I've caught a fish on yet) and some of the other more popular big swimbaits on the market, and I'm looking to add the next glide bait to the lineup. My favorite big swimbaits so far are glide baits and multi jointed hard baits, so if anyone has any suggestions in those two categories, feel free to share, but for those of you who have tried them, which would be the better buy between the Roman Made Negotiator, and the Megabass I-Slide 262? I've been eyeing both for awhile, but I want to hear from guys who have actually fished these lures before pulling the trigger on another $100+ glide. Is the negotiator worth the extra money over the I-slide? Also, if anyone has tried the ABT suicide glide, how does it compare to the Megabass?

Favorite reaction strike retrieves or odd-ball retrieves that produce
Burn and kill a lipless crankbait. You'll get SAVAGE strikes. And mixing up popping, Pausing and walking a pooper. Typically the cadence is pop-pop pause, walk a foot or two, pause again. I caught a downright stupid amount of bass on top water like that last year right up until it got too cold to do anymore. One more I do with a big Swimbait is I'll take a glide bait like a S-waver 200 and I'll keep it high in the water and wake it. It's a topwater action that pretty much nobody uses. that "S" motion on the surface is deadly! One of the Spinnerbait retrieves i do exclusively with a double willow configuration is to fish it just beneath the surface in skinny water waking it, but give the reel a quick jolt and make the blades quickly break the surface before continuing. Looks just like fleeing shad if you've ever seen them popping. Kills em in skinny water and works great on schooling bass. Especially Spots.
