So this year I’m trying to expand my bass rods and reels to make fishing a little easier. The reels I’ve got are: Daiwa Tatula CT100 6.3:1 currently paired with a 6’10” MHF Abu rod that I plan on using for slower techniques- crankbaits, spinners, etc. Lews Speed Spool Tournament MB 7.5:1. Initially I bought this for flipping/pitching/frogging, but I purchased another reel to test (I’ll mention soon). I really don’t know what rod to pair with this, or what the ideal techniques I can use this for are so I need help here. KastKing Speed Demon 9.3:1, paired with a 7’6” Shimano Exage HF for flipping/pitching/frogging. I’ve read mixed reviews on the KastKing so I figured I’d give it a try myself. Any help on that middle reel setup would be great! Or tips on the other setups and where I can improve!
