I use a 7ft med heavy or 7 ft medium. Haven't really decided on one yet and I'm gonna ne using probably Abu Garcia pro max casting.

Hey guys and gals. So I want to get more into jig fishing this year (bladed jigs, finesse jigs, etc) The water that I fish is typically dirty water or somewhat clear but always a lot of cover , weeds, brush. Nothing crystal clear. What line would you recommend. I've used braid for chatterbait and spinner bits but never had much luck. Any input appreciated

What's up everyone. I started my 9 year old daughter on a spinning reel earlier this year. Right now shes using an ultra light rod and reel for nightcrawlers. She got a rather larger spinning set up for her birthday. It's a 6'6 medium with up to 10lb test. My question is what would any of you recommend for line and lures for that set up. She has some soft plastic worms and lizards but was wondering what would be a good starting point for her to learn technique and hook sets. Thanks for your input :)
