  1. When they are feeding on bluegill my favorite spinner bait is a bluegill Swim Jig with a green pumpkin trailer.
  2. Awesome rod for a very specific use. Bass Patrol football jig 3/8 and 1/2 for spotted bass. The regular bend is perfect for the small hook and i like the power for those thick lipped feisty bass.
  3. Thanks Mikeltee, 3/8 to 1/2oz Texas rigs and large shakey heads is what the main purpose of the rod would be. Would like to also double as a swim jig/spinner bait rod. I have a dedicated topwater rod and fully agree that sensitivity is not needed for that. Fish that on a Mojo 71MHF, I opted for that rod for it's action and weight. Should have mentioned weight of rod is important to me. I understand that we are talking tenths of ounce difference but with paddling/rowing all day I like casting to be as little work as possible.
  4. Looking for a step up in my baitcasting rod. I currently fish with St. Croix Mojo and Daiwa Tatula rods. Fishing is split between a 9' pontoon and back of the boat. Space is a little limited so I need a rod that is good for a couple things. I was looking at the Brent Ehler Tatula Elite MHF rod. Does any one out there have any experience with this rod or have any recommendations on something in that sub 200 price range.
