Why don’t they make a rear mount with a remote. Put it down from the rear then use the remote anywhere in the boat.

The previous owner installed a solid Aluminum plate at the bow that will be perfect for my TM. I think he had an anchor unit mounted up there.

Not right away. I have 4-5 year old Granddaughters who i fish with. I want to keep them a little deeper in the boat. I think I will just put a floor in between the bench seats for now. That's why I thought the power drive would work well. With the 18ft cord I can just put the peddle on the floor where I am sitting. Jumping up to an iplot with the remote would work too but......$$

i think I would like to have control from the front or the back of the boat. I like the idea of 18ft range of the pedal. What about Xi3?

Ipilot is an expensive upgrade. Is it overkill for a 14 ft tinny?

Just started fishing this summer. Picked up Lund WC 14 with a 15HP Honda 4 stroke. I plan to do some upgrades and mods Want to start with a TM and a FF Thinking Minn Kota Power Drive 55# and a Garmin Striker Plus 7cv Thoughts? Comment? Recommendations?
