  1. Have some relatives that recently bought a place on this lake down in Missouri. If you have any sort of info for me on this lake, that would be much appreciated. I'm not looking for specific spots or anything, just general information. Heard the crappie bite can be really good but i'm more of a bass fisherman. Curious if anyone on here has fished this lake or has anything they'd be willing to share about it. Thanks!
  2. Does everyone on here tend to see bass located in the same areas they would be during the morning/evening time or would you tend to find them in more open water, roaming in search of food? For example: would I want to spend time flipping laydowns/brush piles from shore or spend time throwing a crankbait/spinnerbait/chatterbait in more open water in the middle of the nigh?

Appreciate everything I’ve gotten from everyone so far. Anxious to really throw this thing as spring arrives. I know guys use a ton of different plastic swimbaits on it but what does everyone prefer? Guys love the Keitechs and I agree, they are fantastic but is there anything out there that maybe is a little cheaper that guys have had a lot of success on?
  4. Has anyone ever thrown these around grass much? I know they are more intended for rocky structure but fishing mainly soft bottom ponds and small lakes, there isnt much rock to throw these at where i'm located. If you have used them in grass, how well did they work and also, let me know your thoughts on best plastics to pair these up with.
  5. Seems to me that I've had my best crankbait success the few weeks right around Easter most years. I understand Easter can vary from year to year but I'm a guy that typically will really try to get out that Saturday of Easter weekend and I've always seemed to have pretty good luck throwing a crankbait. If there is a place that you can find the avg temp for your bodies of water or bodies of water in your area right around Easter in years past, that might give you a better idea as to what temp might work well for crankbait fishing.

Looking at possibly getting more into throwing an A-Rig this spring. Biggest question for me is if it's necessary that I have a leader for this bait. I'm thinking I would like to throw it on straight braid, however, many others online are using a mono/copoly leader. I'm going to be targeting smaller bodies of water and from shore, any other possible tips to help me out in being more successful with this rig would be awesome. Thanks
