  1. what can I look for that will identify if a unit is network capable? What does the port look like? A local guy guy is selling a helix 7 gen 2 and he says it’s a g2n but don’t trust him. It only has view, menu, exit buttons and the bigger control button.

  3. If I just network the 2 units and not the trolling motor, I believe I can skip the network hub and save $200, no?

  5. Long time lurker and first time poster. Could use some advice. I have a helix 9 SI at the console and a terrova with us2 at the bow. I’m thinking of getting a helix 5 for the bow to use the us2 without chirp or SI, but I thought I read I could read the SI from the console transducer on the bow unit? So I guess I would use us2 for helix 5 up front to read sonar, depth and water temp but be able to view SI as well? If so, does the helix 5 come with networking or just 7 and up? What parts/cables/adapters will I need to buy?
