  1. What is a good suitable spinning rod that I should get?

    I'm getting a spinning rod to pair with a daiwa bg 3500. These are the specifications I have been looking for: a 8'6 or 9', medium, mod-fast or fast action, and good guides (zincorium, fuji, aluminium oxide, etc). I have been looking but there are so many options? Anyone have a recommendation and why? My budget is under $125 though preferably under $100. thanks! so far i've been looking at the Penn Prevail, Fenwick HMX, st croix triumph, okuma cedros, daiwa acculite.

  2. daiwa acculite & daiwa bg - is it a good combo?

    I might be getting a Daiwa BG 3500 (2016) and a Daiwa Acculite 8'6 medium light. Is this a good combo? The daiwa acculite was the only rod in store that was 8'6 and had the medium specification. I will be using this rod & reel for saltwater fishing (pier and inshore) So any suggestions? Anything I should change? Thanks
