HAHA thanks for the hint! well per ROD and reel like 50-60 dollars max for now. We have always done the whole worm and bobber fishing and we dont know if we will like this type of fishing so we dont want to break the bank if we dont like to do it...or we dont find time! us soldiers have a thing about training all the time, i dunno why!! just kidding thanks for the reply!!

Hello, I am new to this forum and new to this bass fishing stuff!! there is a lot of information on here! I have a couple of questions that i am sure have been answered here numerous times, but i cant seem to find them! MY wife and i are getting into bass fishing and we need some poles and reels, what is the best for starters? mostly bank fishing for now. I am in the military and i am currently deployed but we are looking into going whilie i am home for leave. so i want to get a cheaper rod and reel incase we dont like it... and i am buying 2 of each...of everything! you know how the wives are!!! anyway if there is any info that could help me out i would appreciate it! I will be fishing in southern Idaho, but i reside in Colorado sprind Colorado.. so i will be fishing there when i get done with m tour here in Iraq... thanks again for all your help!!! have a great day!
