    I have never fished any dammed lakes so I'm not very experienced in this, but I would go to the dam, because the added current would stir up the silt on the bottom more than usual.

    What are some lures / colors / techniques that you recommend for smallmouth that don't include craws? The lake that I typically target smallmouth there aren't any craws in the lake and haven't had the most luck of craws.
