It just shows vertical lines. In the menu of the strike 4, it has sonar setup to choose transducer connected. I choose motorguide and all I get is vertical lines. I've mounted the Garmin transducer and it works fine, just hoping to be able to use the built in.

Anyone familiar with the motorguide xi3. I bought it specifically for the built in transducer. It claims to be compatible with numerous fish finders (using correct adapter cable). I have a Garmin fish finder and bought the adapter cable but can't get it to work. Any suggestions? Do I need to buy a lowrance? Thanks
