Hey everyone. I am moving to New Orleans in July. I'm just looking to get some info on the area. I grew up bass and crappie fishing lakes and rivers, then moved to Texas and learned to fish the shallow flats for reds and specks and the offshore rigs. I am really looking forward to getting back and getting back into the fishing game. If anyone is in the area wants to shoot some pointers or recommendations my way please do! I think I am going to mostly be focusing on freshwater but will still try to get out to the flats around there to chase the local reds and specks.
