Thanks! So it looks like that ducting goes to that afformentioned hole by the drivers seat but that seems counterintuitive to me. Wouldn't you want the air to go through the compartment and exit out the other side that opens to the back?

Thanks! I should have known that. Even I should have figured that out on the light! Ok now that you mention the gelcoat impression on the larger hole I am guessing has something to do with the exhaust? Cause one faced forward and one backwards. So wondering if that is to set up a wind tunnel effect through the gas tank area in back? Picture of that found online

Ok so my son loves to fish. We are not affluent. So we bought a stripped down old ranger 1978 maybe? And are about to go to work on it. I have flipped houses and am pretty handy so decking and wiring should go smoothly. However not sure how much electronic gadgets we want/need and no clue what we can or can not do in terms of the fiberglass. First small example... under the seats what could be considered a rod locker goes only to 6'3". So 6' rods basically. Could I take a hole saw and drill put a passage for a couple longer rods? Or is putting any kind of hole in the interior fiberglass a total no no? They could be small holes, say an inch around to accomodate a PVC tube. I am now going to pepper you all with individual questions and hope like heck for answers. Thanks a million in advance for any help here!! Here is pic. Will be sending pics of specific question areas in individual posts. Hope this is best way to do this rather than writing a book in one post!
