Thank you; I was planning on 1/16 and perhaps 3/32. What I am trying to determine is the appropriate hook size. I can get a 1/16 with a #2, #1, 1/0 or 2/0. I know a 2/0 is too large. What about a 1/0 or #1 for the 3" grub?

I am grubbing for advice.... I am going to try a 3" grub for the first time for bass. The grub I bought is a Kalin's 3" grub. It appears to have a slightly larger diameter body than most grubs. What hook size do you recommend? Any specific brand? I was going to go with whatever unpainted jig head with as big a hook as possible without impeding action. Thank you!
