So a week or so ago me and my friend were fishing in a retention pond in the neighborhood we live in and this lady said that we cant fish in the back of her yard which sounds right but we do have 3 feet of the pond from the edge of the pond to the edge where they are allowed to play fence upon that goes all the way around that we can fish and she called the cops on us for fishing in her yard even though we weren’t even fishing in it I went in to get a bass and I went in because I got my bait stuck so she called the cops and the cop told us to stay away from their property because they don’t know what they’re talking about but it still is a problem that we can’t fish there because it’s a gold spot for Bass and we have the right to so I would just love some feed back on this and does anyone know where I can find rules on fishing in a pond ?
