Pikeflies

So I bought this boat, and after I opened each bench seating I realised that the bench seats only extend under the casting deck a few inches. There is no room for 1 piece rods of any kind. I've been deciding to delete a bench and or live well to make a storage box but I'm scared to cut the fiberglass. Any ideas anyone? I just want a way to put my rods in rod socks and hide them in the boat. Thanks!
