Hello Hoolgan, When you purchased the weights, where did you get them from and what was the price?? If you purchased them from a message board and they were the special 3.50 a pack, you have some of the original batch of product we had manufactured. We realized they had some issues and we offered them at a good price. Everyone I have spoke to is very happy with the new product. All the prior purchasers who were looking to reorder were directed to the online stores to purchase the new product and are happy. As with any new company, you are going to go through quality control issues and improvements. We are dedicated to making the best product we can and will address any issues that comes up. Although we cannot please everyone, we do our best to please the majority of our users. If all you have is the original internet product that was 3.50 a pack, shoot me an email and I will send you a pack of our new product to try. Lee

Hello guys!! As far as Ecopro Tungsten goes, We are the largest distributor of Tungsten products in the country. We no longer sell direct but you can navigate the site to find online stores that carry our products, like another site etc. A while back we offered a good deal on Tungsten weights that were part of our product line that we were refining. This was a huge batch of product that was improved on. We improved the paint process and quality control. Yes , the original products had some minor paint issues as well as the hole size issue. These areas have been corrected. The hole size issue was a test to allow the use of toothpicks for pegging but problems quickly arrose and we corrected the issue by using the standard hole size and we now offer ProPegs as part of our product line ( sorry toothpick guys ). The price increase had nothing to do with signing the Pros to our staff. The special we ran earlier was to get some Tungsten in the hands of anglers at a good price and you would be pleased with our improved line.
