  1. KVD 1.0 Square Bills in Black Back Chartreuse TRD's in Coppertreuse, California Craw and Molting Craw dragging along the bottom. I keep buying big baits/rods and spending countless hours with them, then I switch to something small and that's when I get the bites.
  2. I've been fishing abu villains for the last two years and made the transition to dobyns this season. The abu's are hanging in the garage and every time I look at them I tell myself I need to sell them or try to trade them for a random dobyns rod. One of the rods I picked up was the fury 705cb and Its been a blast. I've never hooked so many fish on a squarebill this spring and as the weeds grow im using it for topwater. I have no problems walking the dog with a 1/4oz zara spook puppy.
  3. The last two years seem to be them flaunting their bank accounts. They dont have anything else to teach and are more about being youtube personalities. I turn to youtube university to learn new things. This year I've seen them break more Favorite rods and reels than any other product in the past. Watching Scott Martin fish a tournament without a reel knob or breaking a pole, Dustin Connell breaking a rod while fishing peacock bass, and the countless rods broke from the Googan Squad mid cast. All while 1rod is fishing a dobyns and saying its the best rod hes ever used. The videos do sell. I've switched from wacky rigged senkos to z-man trd's after watching Brian Latimer. Picked up a pair of Costa sunglasses because of Scott Martin.
